It's small town charm is what makes Pomfret unique. Pomfret Vermont is a town of approximately 1000 residents, having two distinct areas - North Pomfret and South Pomfret. Starbuck Farm is located in North Pomfret, at the end of a town-maintained road that is easily accessed off the the main road through town, which provides quick and convenient access to Lebanon and Hanover, New Hampshire where you can find shopping, restaurants, theatres, museums, and many other amenities. South Pomfret is a short 5 minute drive from Starbuck Farm as you head towards Woodstock. The center of South Pomfret is identified by Teago General Store and Pomfret's own ski area - Suicide Six. A mile further towards Woodstock you will find Pomfret Elementary School where students attend through the sixth grade.
